Groundwork Digital LLC (“Groundwork Digital,” “we,” “us”) builds documentation systems for commercial construction contractors. We are based in Spring Hill, Tennessee. This policy describes what information we collect through our website (getgroundworkdigital.com), our forms (forms.getgroundworkdigital.com), our advertising, and our email, and how we use it.

We collect business contact information that you choose to give us, typically when you request a checklist, sample document, or other resource; fill out a form on our website or in an ad; book an interview or a call; or correspond with us by email. That information can include: your name, business email address, and business phone number; your company name, trade, role, and state; and your answers to short questions on our forms, such as the kind of work your company does and where documentation causes the most trouble.

We deliberately collect the minimum needed to be useful. We never ask for, and you should never send through our forms: Social Security numbers, identity documents, bank or payment card details, or employee personal information. Client engagements are governed by separate written agreements, and client project data stays in accounts the client owns.

To deliver the resource you asked for (for example, emailing you a checklist). To follow up with you about the topic you raised your hand on. To send occasional relevant material about construction documentation; every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link, honored promptly. To operate, measure, and improve our website and advertising. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Our website and forms use the Meta pixel and similar tools, which set cookies and collect standard device and usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, browser type) to measure our advertising and reach people likely to find our material useful. If you interact with one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the information you submit on that ad’s form with us, as described in Meta’s own data policy. You can control ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings, and most browsers let you limit or clear cookies.

We use a small set of service providers to run the business, and your information is stored in their systems only as needed to do the things described above: form tools (Tally), a workflow tool (Make), a database (Airtable), email and productivity services (Microsoft 365), our email sending tools, and Meta for advertising. Each processes data under its own privacy terms and our instructions.

We keep contact records for as long as they are useful for the purposes above, and we delete or anonymize them when they are not. You can shorten that at any time by asking us to delete your information.

Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message. Ask us what information we hold about you. Ask us to correct or delete your information. To do any of these, email us at the address below and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we honor reasonable requests regardless of where you are.

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
